What makes this collection possible is a clever connection system. One key component is a conical steep-thread on which modular panels are screwed with a 90° rotation. This connection is secured by a simple "click" mechanism. Three metal pins snap into the modular panels and prevent the pieces from being removed. To undo the connection you have to rotate a ring which is part of the case under the steep-thread. Then its possible to unscrew the parts. (+ source)
