Esher joint by Benjamin Parton. Partly inspired by the joinery of the Rietveld joint and buy one of Escher’s ‘impossible’ etchings. The form suggested a way in which paneling could be incorporated into a structure and secured using a single bolt passing through a pyramid shaped washer, through the joints origin, to an opposing pyramid shaped nut on the joints inside corner.(+ source)
