Magnum is a dinner table. The challenge given to the designer was to create a table made of bulky elements that should be visually light. Pierre Favresse chose to use a thin matrix of metal linking thick wooden –or marble- legs to a heavy solid wood table top. (+ source 1) (+ source 2)
