The fast nut is a quick connector nut made of metal for highest loads and can in many cases the standard nut replace.The rapid assembly nut is pushed, locked over the thread up to the notice and tightened with the wrench a quarter to half revolution. To the disassembly the nut with the wrench in a quarter to half revolution is eased, then unlocks and afterwards over the thread of the screw pulled. (+ source)
